Why South Africa?
South Africa dazzles with its unmatched diversity, offering a tapestry of experiences from cosmopolitan Cape Town's vibrant waterfront beneath the majestic Table Mountain to the heart-stopping wonder of watching lions and elephants roam freely on private game reserves. Along the stunning Garden Route, you'll discover Plettenberg Bay's pristine beaches and coastal trails, while Oudtshoorn invites you to explore otherworldly limestone caves and meet the characters of ostrich country in the Little Karoo. In Franschhoek, South Africa's culinary and wine capital, you'll sip award-winning vintages amid breathtaking valley views before toasting new friendships over farm-to-table feasts prepared by world-class chefs. Beyond the spectacular landscapes, it's the warm-hearted people who truly make South Africa special – from township cooking classes and vibrant marketplaces to powerful historical sites that tell stories of resilience and hope, this journey promises the perfect blend of adventure, cultural immersion, and transformative moments shared with like-minded women travelers.

Our Itinerary
March 18 - Arrive in Cape Town and transfer to our hotel in Green Point neighborhood. If you can arrive and get settled in around 3pm there is an available hike to Lion’s Head before our group welcome dinner at 6:30pm
March 19 - Our first full day in Cape Town will include the top must-see cultural spots of Robbin’s Island and District Six Museum along with a cable car ride up Table Mountain.
March 20 - We have a full day exploring the Cape of Good Hope including Chapman’s Peak, tide pools and most importantly Boulder Beach to see the penguins.
March 21 - As we drive along to coast to our next accommodations in Plettenberg Bay, we can stop along the stunning rocky shores of the Souther Cape. Depending on how many stops we take along the way, we will have some time to explore the city or take a short nature walk in the hills overlooking the bay or book a spa treatment through our hotel.
March 22 - I hope you are ready for adventure because this day is jam packed: snorkel with seals, hike along the Robberg peninsula and visit an elephant sanctuary, oh my!
March 23 - After transferring to Oudtshoorn where we are staying on a working ostrich farm, we will explore Cango Cave, drive Swartberg Pass for dramatic views, hike to a waterfall and learn about ostrich farming.
March 24 - We have a 3 hour drive from Oudtshoorn to our private game reserve where we have the afternoon to relax before our first game drive that evening.
March 25 - Today is a full day of safari where we hope to see the Big 5! We have a morning game drive with bush coffee before returning to our resort for breakfast, pool time and lunch. We will also have an evening game drive before a later dinner.
March 26 - We will have our last safari game drive in the morning before heading to Cape Winelands region to sample some of the regions most notable wines. If you want to skip the wine tour you can lounge by the pool or explore the historic charm of Franschhoek.
March 27 - We have all day to soak in Franschhoek and Stellenbosch before making our way back to Cape Town where we are staying at a hotel near the airport.
March 28 - Sadly, this is the day we part ways. There is an airport shuttle from our hotel back to the Cape Town International Airport where we will all dream about our next trip together as we travel to our respective homes.
